5 Simple habits that leads to BIG results
Revamp Your Daily Routine with these 5 Habits
Ever find yourself wondering why some people seem to have it all together?
They’re completing all their tasks, hitting the gym, reading every day whilst still staying energized somehow.
Meanwhile, you're stuck in a loop of to-do lists and procrastination.
But here's the thing – it's all about the habits.
Today, I want to share with you 5 game-changing habits that can transform not just your productivity, but your entire day.
These aren't just any habits, they're the ones that stick and make a real difference:
Morning Pages:
Before you check your phone, take 10 minutes to write down your thoughts, goals, or anything that's on your mind. This clears the mental clutter and sets a focused tone for the day.
The Pomodoro Technique:
Work for 25 minutes, then take a 5-minute break. It's a simple yet effective way to boost focus and prevent burnout. Plus, it turns your workday into a series of sprints, not a marathon. The important thing here is to not check your phone while you’re on a break. Recover, don’t relax.
One Big Thing:
Each morning, identify the one task that will make the biggest impact. Do it first. Don’t prioritize your schedule, schedule your priorities.
Digital Declutter:
Allocate specific times for checking emails and social media. And when you do, make sure you’re doing it on your computer. This makes checking social media a lot more focused and minimizes the chances of getting distracted and doomscrolling.
Evening Reflection:
Spend 10 minutes each night reflecting on what went well and what could be better. It’s a simple but powerful way to improve and stay aligned with your goals.
Bonus:
Your phone should be in another room while you sleep as well as the first and last hour of your day. “No but I need my alarm”. Then get one, but your phone needs to be out of sight and out of mind from the last hour of your day until after the first hour of your morning (at the very least).
It’s all about focus. Focusing 20% of your time & energy on the things that will produce 80% of the results. (If you haven’t yet I’d highly recommend reading the 80/20 Principle by Richard Koch)
Try integrating these habits one by one to notice the effect each of them has on your productivity throughout the day.
Experiment with new habits, keep what works, and leave what doesn’t.
Good luck
Chris
P.S. I’m in the process of building a Notion community on Skool which I’ll be launching on the 1st of February. It’ll have everything from Notion courses to monthly group calls and template contests & reviews. And the weekly productivity posts from this newsletter will also be sent out in the community along with a video for each post. So keep your eyes peeled for my emails over the following 2 weeks 👀
